Who is Select Brands and what do you make?

Select Brands designs and manufactures a wide range of kitchen appliances and home products. Our portfolio includes our own brands—TRU, Toastmaster, Babycakes, Treat Time, and Silhouette—as well as licensed brands like Disney, Pixar, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Yellowstone.

You can browse our current offerings on our website under "Our Brands," "Licensed Products," and "Categories." Note: While we strive for completeness, not all products have an Instruction Manual (IM) included on their specific product page.

Where can I buy Select Brands products?

Our products are sold through mass merchants, grocery and drug chains, home improvement centers, catalogs, specialty shops, and online retailers. You can also use the "Where to Buy" links on our product pages.

Do you sell directly on selectbrands.com?

Yes, we offer a smaller assortment of products for direct sale online. If a product is listed as “Retail Only,” please use the provided links to find a retail partner.

Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?

Yes. For bulk inquiries, please provide the specific product SKUs, quantities, required delivery dates, and shipping destinations to support@selectbrands.com for a quote.

I found a lower price elsewhere. Do you price match?

We do not currently offer price matching against other retailers.

⚙ Parts, Model Numbers & Specs

How do I purchase replacement parts?

Search by your model number on our site to find items like carafes, filters, lids, and baskets. If you cannot find the part online, call customer service at 866-663-4500. Note: We do not replace internal electrical components for safety reasons.

Where can I find the model number of my product?

Check the front cover of your Instruction Manual. Alternatively, flip the unit over to find the rating label on the base. It lists the Brand, Model Number, Voltage, and Wattage.

What voltage and wattage do you support?

Most U.S. models support 120V. Always check the rating label for specific wattage. International models vary; please verify compatibility before using with adapters.

đŸ§Œ Product Care & Materials

Can metal parts be placed in the dishwasher?

Many removable parts (beaters, cutter assemblies) are dishwasher safe. However, to prolong product life, hand washing is recommended. Never put electrical bases in the dishwasher.

Does your nonstick coating contain PFOA?

No. There is NO PFOA in our products. Some coatings contain PTFE (safe/non-toxic), while others are ceramic. Visit our Chemicals Disclosure page for full details.

Do any of the slow cooker inserts contain lead?

No. All of our stoneware is FDA approved and never contains lead or cadmium.

Why is the bottom of my slow cooker insert not glazed?

This is normal from the manufacturing/curing process and is not a defect. Always use caution when placing stoneware on delicate surfaces.

⚡ Safety & Usage

My new product smells like it is burning. Is this normal?

Yes. It is common for new heating appliances to emit a slight odor during the first few uses as manufacturing oils burn off. If smoke is heavy or persists, unplug and contact support.

Are your licensed products kid-friendly?

Cooking is a great shared activity, but our products are not designed for use by children without adult supervision.

Can I use extension cords?

We recommend plugging directly into a wall outlet. If an extension cord is needed, ensure it has the proper electrical rating. Never "daisy-chain" power strips.

What is the Select Brands warranty?

Most appliances include a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship starting from the original date of purchase.

How do I file a warranty claim?

You will need: 1. Model Number, 2. Proof of Purchase (Store receipt), 3. Description/Photo of the issue. Register your product on our website to begin.

What is your return policy?

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. If purchased at a retailer, please check their return window first.
